* until 1045 am CDT

* at 1017 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm
capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm
was located near Fairchilds... or 8 miles southeast of Rosenberg...
and moving east at 55 mph. Penny size hail may also accompany the
damaging winds.

* Locations impacted include...

* at 826 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory
area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall of
1 to 2 inches are possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lake Jackson... Angleton... Bay City... Clute... West Columbia...
Sweeny... Richwood... Brazoria... bailey's prairie... Van Vleck...
Markham and wild Peach Village.
