Nowcast | as of 12:39 am CDT on May 24, 2015

Numerous showers with embedded thunderstorms containing heavy rainfall will track from the Interstate 35 corridor into eastern North Texas through 4 am. Locally heavy rainfall will likely produce flash flooding due to saturated soils. In addition... ongoing river flooding may increase through the morning hours across the area. Nighttime flooding can be life-threatening. If you come across flooded roads...especially moving water...turn around don't drown. Isolated severe storms could produce localized damaging downburst winds...along with an isolated tornado. Otherwise...expect mild and humid conditions with temperatures remaining in the mid 60s to lower 70s through 4 am.
