... Flood Warning extended until further notice...

the Flood Warning continues for
the Wichita river at Wichita Falls.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:45 am Friday the stage was 18.4 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Wichita river will continue rising and will initially
crest near 21.3 feet mid Saturday morning. Additional heavy rainfall
is likely by late Saturday. This additional rainfall may result in
subsequent and prolonged rises.

* Impact... at 21 feet... in Wichita Falls... extensive flooding occurs
in Harwell and Lucy Parks. Shallow flooding occurs in homes north
of third street and in Tanglewood hollow... and in Scotland Park.
Agricultural areas upstream and downstream from Wichita Falls
experience widespread flood depths up to 3 feet.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Beaver Creek near Electra.

* Until Monday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 9:00 am Friday the stage was 28.6 feet.

* Major flooding is occurring.

* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Beaver Creek has will fall slowly with some
fluctuations possible through early Saturday evening and then fall
below flood stage early Monday morning.

* Impact... at 29 feet... widespread flood levels up to 5 feet in depth
cover farm and range lands... and may inundate some oil and gas
facilities... along and near the creek in southern Wilbarger County
and southwestern Wichita County.

... Flood Warning extended until Monday morning...

the Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near Burkburnett.

* Until Monday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 8:30 am Friday the stage was 9.8 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Red River will continue rising and crest near 10.7
feet early Saturday morning. The Red River will fall below flood
stage early Monday morning.

* Impact... at 11 feet... crop and range lands... oil fields... and
rural roads are affected. Some low-lying areas near the river are
isolated by high water in side channels. Bottomlands near Davidson
Oklahoma begin to flood several hours before the crest approaches
the Burkburnett area. The flood crest reaches the area along the
river near Taylor Oklahoma several hours later. Cattle and other
property should be relocated to places which are 2 feet higher than
nearby river banks to avoid being stranded.

* until 130 PM CDT Friday

* at 525 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
additional heavy rain which will cause flooding. One quarter to
three quarters of an inch rain has already fallen from Quanah to
Knox City Texas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wichita Falls... Burkburnett... Seymour... Sheppard AFB... Iowa Park...
Henrietta... Electra... Archer City... Holliday... Ryan... Petrolia...
Byers... Scotland... Bellevue... Terral... Windthorst... Dean...
