Statement as of 2:26 AM CDT on May 30, 2015

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near Burkburnett.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 1:30 am Saturday the stage was 10.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Red River will continue rising and crest near 11.2
feet mid Sunday morning then begin falling.

* Impact... at 11.0 feet... crop and range lands... oil fields... and
rural roads are affected. Some low-lying areas near the river are
isolated by high water in side channels. Areas along the river near
Davidson Oklahoma begin to flood several hours before the crest
approaches the Burkburnett area. The flood crest reaches the area
along the river near Taylor Oklahoma several hours later. Cattle
and other property should be relocated to places which are 2 feet
higher than nearby river banks to avoid being stranded.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Wichita river at Wichita Falls.

* Until Sunday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 1:45 am Saturday the stage was 16.5 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Wichita river is currently falling but will begin
to rise again this afternoon and then expected to crest near 18.0 feet
early Sunday afternoon.

* Impact... at 18.0 feet... in Wichita Falls... nuisance flooding
occurs on some local streets. Agricultural areas upstream from
town experience brief overflows.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Beaver Creek near Electra.

* Until Wednesday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:00 am Saturday the stage was 27.0 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Beaver Creek is cresting initially near 27 feet.
The creek will fall slightly today but start rising again Sunday
morning and crest near 27.1 feet early Monday morning. The Beaver
Creek will fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.

* Impact... at 27.0 feet... widespread flood levels up to 3 feet in
depth cover farm and range lands... and may inundate some oil and
gas facilities... along and near the creek in southern Wilbarger
County and southwestern Wichita County.

afternoon...

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* portions of Oklahoma and northern Texas... including the
following areas... in Oklahoma... Atoka... Bryan... Carter...
Coal... Comanche... Cotton... Garvin... Greer... Harmon... Jackson...
   Jefferson... Johnston... Kiowa... Love... Marshall... Murray...
Pontotoc... Stephens and Tillman. In northern Texas... Archer...
Baylor... Clay... Foard... Hardeman... Knox... Wichita and
Wilbarger.

* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon

* heavy rainfall is still possible this morning across the Red
River valley of southern oklahom and western North Texas. A
complex of storms will continue to move east across northern
Texas and may develop further north into southern Oklahoma this
morning as a cold front pushes south through the area. Rainfall
totals of 1 to 2 inches will be possible with locally higher
amounts.
