The Storm Prediction Center has issued an enhanced risk of severe weather for parts of central Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and southern Nebraska. Severe thunderstorms are developing throughout the area, producing tornadoes, heavy rain, and large hail. Tornadoes will be possible into the evening.

Nowcast | as of 6:06 PM CDT on May 6, 2015

A Tornado Watch is in effect until 9 PM along and northwest of a line from Eastland...to Weatherford...to Nocona. Severe thunderstorms will continue moving northeast across western portions of North Texas. Large hail and destructive winds in excess of 70 mph will accompany the strongest storms. Through sunset...the bulk of the activity will remain northwest of Graham and Bowie...but additional thunderstorms will be possible within the watch area. Elsewhere...isolated thunderstorms are unlikely...but a few showers will be possible. Temperatures will be generally in the lower 80s through sunset.
