The Flood Warning continues for
the West Fork Trinity River at Grand Prairie.
* At 0830 am Saturday the stage was 28.45 feet.
* Flood stage is 27 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 29.5 feet
by Saturday afternoon. The river should fall below flood stage late
Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Dallas County in north central Texas...
Johnson County in north central Texas...
Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* until 1145 am CDT

* at 842 am CDT... light to moderate rain continues to fall across
the area. Many areas have seen between 1 and 2 inches of rain
already. Numerous Road closures have been reported... and flash
flooding is expected to continue for the next several hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dallas... Fort Worth... Arlington... Garland... Irving... Grand
Prairie... Mesquite... Carrollton... Richardson... Mansfield...
Rowlett... Euless... DeSoto... Bedford... Grapevine... Cedar Hill...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* all of north and central Texas

* until noon CDT today

* additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible.

* Soils are saturated across the watch area. Any additional
heavy rain will runoff quickly and result in flash flooding.
In addition... heavy rains will only aggravate ongoing river
and lake flooding across the area.

rain which may lead to flash flooding. You should monitor the
