At 9:44 am...National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to detect areas of freezing drizzle or light freezing rain spreading across parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Light rain was affecting southeast Oklahoma...where temperatures were above freezing. The precipitation was moving toward the northeast...around 35 miles per hour. Through 11:00 am...areas of freezing drizzle or light freezing rain will continue to spread across the area. Additional icing will be possible...mainly north of Highway 412...with a slight glaze forming on mainly elevated surfaces. With temperatures below zero...roadways could also become slick...especially bridges and overpasses. Travel will continue to be impacted through the morning hours. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for all eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas...with the exception of Choctaw County...until 11 am.

morning...

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has adjusted the timing of
the Winter Weather Advisory and it is now in effect until 11 am CST
this morning...

For the following counties...
* in Oklahoma... Cherokee... Adair... creek... Okfuskee... Okmulgee...
   Wagoner... Rogers... Mayes... Pawnee... Ottawa... Pushmataha...
   Washington... Osage... Craig... Nowata... Pittsburg... Sequoyah...
   McIntosh... Muskogee... Le Flore... Latimer and Haskell. In
   Arkansas... Washington... Madison... Crawford... Sebastian and
   Franklin.

Hazardous weather...
* areas of freezing rain and freezing drizzle will continue
   across portions of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas for
   most of the morning hours. While areas of freezing rain will
   diminish in areal coverage as the morning progresses... these
   areas will experience freezing drizzle off and on this morning.

* Additional ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch will be
   possible with ongoing areas of freezing rain. Trace amounts
   will accompany freezing drizzle as it becomes more predominant
   this morning.
