Some light snow was also indicated over parts of far northeast Oklahoma and the northwest corner of Arkansas. All of this activity continues to lift northeast at around 40 miles per hour. Through 6:30 PM...areas of light freezing drizzle...light freezing rain and light sleet will remain common across the area. The light snow over far northeast Oklahoma and the northwest corner of Arkansas will be coming to an end...with little to no additional accumulation. The addition of freezing precipitation will result in deteriorating Road conditions across the area...as such travel is not advised unless absolutely necessary. If you must travel...drive carefully...and allow extra time to reach your destination. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas until 6 am CST Sunday.
