At 6:54 am...National Weather Service Doppler radars detected showers to the south and east of Interstate 40. Other scattered shower activity...and some patchy drizzle was noted across parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. All activity was moving toward the east and southeast at around 25 mph. Through 8:30 am...occasional showers persist across much of eastern Oklahoma...west central and northwest Arkansas. Average hourly rainfall of up to one tenth can be expected...with a few moderate showers producing amounts closer to one quarter of an inch. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for portions of southeast Oklahoma through early afternoon.
