Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 6:27 PM CDT on July 04, 2015

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southwestern Pushmataha County in southeastern Oklahoma...

* until 930 PM CDT

* at 625 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area. 1 to 3 inches of rain has already fall across
western Pushmataha County... and an additional 1 to 2 inches is
possible. Flash flood warnings may be requried should the
heaviest rain persist.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Antlers... Rattan... Kosoma... Kellond... Moyers... Eubanks... Dela and
Finley.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to travel across
flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of
swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.
