Nowcast | as of 5:01 PM CST on March 4, 2015

At 5:00 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars indicated a mix of precipitation ongoing across much of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Light rain continues across the extreme southeast corner of Oklahoma where temperatures remain above freezing. Elsewhere a mix of snow and sleet were occurring. All of this activity was moving off to the northeast at around 40 mph. Through 6:45 PM...periods of snow and occasional sleet will be possible for the majority of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Across the far southeast corner of Oklahoma...light rain will be possible...with the potential for a transition to freezing rain and sleet as the colder air pushed further south. Additional snowfall accumulations of less than an inch will be common with most of the snowfall. Locally higher amounts to around 1 inch will be possible with the heavier bands. The addition of snow on top of the already fallen precipitation will result in deteriorating Road conditions across the region.
