... Flood Warning extended until Monday morning...

the Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near Terral.

* Until Monday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 9:00 am Friday the stage was 22.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Red River will begin rising and crest near 23.4
feet mid Saturday morning. The Red River will fall below flood
stage early Monday morning.

* Impact... at 23 feet... crop and range lands... Pecan Groves and
rural roads are affected. Agricultural levees begin to overtop
when the river stages rise above 23 feet. Though not flooded...
some areas at the edge of the flood plain may be isolated by high
water in side channels. Bottomlands near Charlie Texas begin to
flood several hours before the crest reaches Terral Oklahoma...
with flooding reaching the Illinois Bend area near Leon Oklahoma
several hours later.

... Flood Warning extended until Monday morning...

the Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near Burkburnett.

* Until Monday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 8:30 am Friday the stage was 9.8 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Red River will continue rising and crest near 10.7
feet early Saturday morning. The Red River will fall below flood
stage early Monday morning.

* Impact... at 11 feet... crop and range lands... oil fields... and
rural roads are affected. Some low-lying areas near the river are
isolated by high water in side channels. Bottomlands near Davidson
Oklahoma begin to flood several hours before the crest approaches
the Burkburnett area. The flood crest reaches the area along the
river near Taylor Oklahoma several hours later. Cattle and other
property should be relocated to places which are 2 feet higher than
nearby river banks to avoid being stranded.
