The Flood Warning continues for
the north Canadian river at Oklahoma City.

* Until Thursday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 15.2 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* Forecast... the north Canadian river will rise above flood stage
late Wednesday evening and crest near 22.1 feet mid Thursday
morning.The north Canadian river will fall below flood stage early
Thursday afternoon.

* Impact... at 22 feet... croplands... pastures... and rural roads east
of Oklahoma City near the towns of Spencer and Jones are inundated
by significant overflow depths. Spencer is not affected by
floodwaters... while shallow flooding may reach the outskirts of
Jones.

* From Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon... or until the warning
is cancelled.

* At 8:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 10.9 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* Forecast... the north Canadian river will rise above flood stage
early Thursday afternoon and crest near 17.2 feet Thursday evening.
The north Canadian river will fall below flood stage late Friday
morning.

* Impact... at 17 feet... significant flooding affects agricultural
areas and rural roads in eastern Oklahoma County... the southwest
corner of Lincoln County... and northwestern Pottawatomie County.
