The Flood Warning continues for
the Washita river at Lindsay.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 8:00 am Sunday the stage was 20.9 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Washita river will continue rising and crest near
27.0 feet early Monday morning then begin falling.

* Impact... at 26.0 feet... agricultural lands... rural roads... and
oilfields from near Lindsay to near Maysville are covered by
overflow depths up to 8 feet... with devastating currents. The
Washita river isolates Lindsay when the stage rises to 24 feet...
blocking State Highway 19 east and west of town. Secions of Lindsay
overflow when the stage rises above 20 feet. Near the time of
crest... very serious inundation affects most homes and and
businesses.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Washita river at Anadarko.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:30 am Sunday the stage was 21.6 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Washita river will continue rising to near 24.3 feet
mid Wednesday morning then begin falling.

* Impact... at 24.0 feet... campgrounds in the Anadarko City Park and
nearby low areas are flooded. Floodwaters damage farm property and
block many rural roads along the Washita river in eastern Caddo and
western Grady counties... and could breach farm levees.

... Flood Warning extended until Wednesday morning...

the Flood Warning continues for
the Washita river near Pauls Valley.

* From this evening to Wednesday morning... or until the warning is
cancelled.

* At 9:30 am Sunday the stage was 21.1 feet.

* Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Washita river will rise above flood stage late
Sunday evening and crest near 34.8 feet early Monday afternoon.The
Washita river will fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.

* Impact... at 35.0 feet... the city of Pauls Valley suffers inundation
of about 90 percent... about a thousand acres... in its central
business and residential areas... some accessible only by boat.
U.S. Highway 77 northwest of town is closed. About thirteen
thousand acres in Garvin County upstream from Pauls Valley are
affected by varied depths up to 6 feet. Flooding of rural lands
near Maysville in western Garvin County... begins hours before the
crest reaches Pauls Valley.

* portions of Oklahoma and northern Texas... including the
following areas... in Oklahoma... Atoka... Bryan... Carter...
Coal... Garvin... Hughes... Jefferson... Johnston... Lincoln...
Love... Marshall... Murray... Pontotoc... Pottawatomie and
Seminole. In northern Texas... Clay.

* Through Monday morning

* an additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is possible through
Monday morning. This rainfall in addition to the heavy rainfall
of recent days will create the potential of additional flash
flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Monitor weather forecasts and information. Avoid travel in
flooded areas... and make plans to get to higher ground if
flooding develops or worsens in your area.
