A more intense snow band was moving across portions of far eastern Oklahoma...and into northwest Arkansas. A wintry mix was being reported across far southeast Oklahoma. All this activity was moving toward the northeast...around 40 miles per hour. Through 3:00 PM...periods of light to moderate snowfall will persist across much of the forecast area. A mix of snow...sleet...and rain will be possible across southeast Oklahoma. Snowfall amounts of a trace...up to an inch per hour will be common...with higher amounts likely across northeast Oklahoma and into northwest Arkansas. With the snow that already fell yesterday...this could increase snow depth amounts to over 6 inches in some locations. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the area...along and north of Highway 412. If you must travel...drive carefully as roadways will likely deteriorate quickly.
