* at 529 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued
to indicate an area of moderate thunderstorms with very heavy
rainfall will move across Dallas County and locations to the
east. The strongest storms were east of Gurdon to near
Arkadelphia. Very heavy rain has fallen over parts of the warned
area in the past several hours with additional heavy rain
expected. The area has received 1 to 3 inches of rain overnight...
and an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain will be possible. Isolated
locations have received even higher amounts. Flash flooding is
likely. While rain may taper off in some areas during the
warning period... it will take some time for any high water to
runoff. Low lying areas will flood as well as local roadways.

southwestern Cleveland... southeastern Clark... Calhoun and
southwestern Bradley counties until 715 am CDT...

At 607 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar was tracking
a complex of moderate to strong thunderstorms over Ouachita
County... with the strongest storm 2 miles east of White Oak Lake
State Park... or 15 miles northwest of Camden. Storms were moving
east at 20 mph.

Small hail around pea size and wind gusts up to 35 mph are expected
with this storm... along with heavy rain and frequent dangerous
lightning. The heavy rain will cause ponding of water on roadways
and localized flooding in low lying areas. A Flash Flood Warning is
in effect for parts of the area.
