The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Ouachita River at Thatcher l&d.
* From late Tuesday night until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 7:00 am Saturday the water surface elevation was 77.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood elevation is 79.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood elevation by early Wednesday morning and
continue to rise to near 84.0 feet by July 12th.
* Impacts at 83.0 feet... access to oil and gas rigs and to Timber
is flooded. Calhoun County Road 131 is completely under water leading
to old lock 8 river access.

* Flash Flood Warning for...

Ouachita County in southwest Arkansas...
southern Clark County in southwest Arkansas...
southern Dallas County in southwest Arkansas...

* until 130 PM CDT

* at 1023 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
an area of thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall along a line
extending from 2 miles west of Crater of Diamonds State Park to 5
miles west of Camden to 4 miles south of Crane Lake. Doppler radar
indicates over 5 inches of rain have fallen over parts of the
warned area in the past 6 hours with additional heavy rain
expected. Flash flooding is likely to occur. While precipitation
may taper off in some areas during the warning period... it will
take some time for any high water to runoff.
