Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 2:41 AM MST on March 02, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight CST /11 PM
MST/ tonight to noon CST /11 am MST/ Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect
from midnight CST /11 PM MST/ tonight to noon CST /11 am MST/
Tuesday.

* Timing... snow... moderate at times... will begin late tonight and
gradually diminish by late morning Tuesday. The heaviest snow
may fall around sunrise and continue through the morning
commute.

* Snow accumulations... generally one to three inches... however
localized higher amounts possible across northwest Nebraska.

* Wind... north winds of 20 to 35 mph through mid
afternoon... diminishing late in the day.

* Impacts... the combination of accumulating snow and blowing snow
will make travel dangerous across the advisory area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibility will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.
