The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
central Lancaster County in southeastern Nebraska...

* until 900 PM CDT

* at 832 PM CDT... a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Pleasant Dale... or near Lincoln... moving
northeast at 15 mph.

Hazard... tornado.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs... windows and vehicles will occur. Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Lincoln around 900 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Conestoga state Recreation Area... Raymond... Pawnee state Recreation
Area and Denton.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
central Kansas
southeast Nebraska

* effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 830 PM
until 200 am CDT.

* Primary threats include...
a couple tornadoes possible
isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible
isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

Summary... multiple clusters of severe storms are expected to persist
into the overnight hours with a risk for a couple of
tornadoes... large hail and damaging straight line winds.

The Tornado Watch area is approximately along and 55 statute
miles east and west of a line from 20 miles east northeast of
Lincoln Nebraska to 45 miles south of Wichita Kansas. For a

of Pleasant Dale... or 10 miles southwest of Lincoln... moving
northeast at 40 mph.

The National Weather Service in Omaha/valley has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of east central Nebraska and
southeast Nebraska... including the following areas... in east
central Nebraska... Butler and Saunders. In southeast
Nebraska... Jefferson... Lancaster... Saline and Seward.

* Until 4 am CDT Thursday

* numerous strong thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall will
occur tonight. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches could be
possible which could cause areas of flash flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
