Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:08 PM CST on February 28, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
Sunday...

* timing... continuing through midday Sunday.

* Snow accumulations... storm total accumulations of 3 to 5 inches
by midday Sunday in south central and southeast Kansas with 1 to
3 inches in central Kansas. The majority of these amounts will
occur through early this evening. There is potential for a
narrow band of moderate snowfall very late tonight into Sunday
morning... near the Highway 50 corridor where an additional 1 to
2 inches will be possible.

* Freezing drizzle... areas of light freezing drizzle are possible
tonight into Sunday morning across south central and southeast
Kansas... mainly closer to the Oklahoma border.

* Main impacts... widespread accumulating snowfall will result in
reduced visibilities of 1/2 mile to 1 mile at times... along with
snowcovered and slick roads. Any freezing drizzle in the south
will make driving conditions very hazardous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of winter weather
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads
and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.
