... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
today...

* timing... another round of light snow and sleet will affect the
advisory area early this morning. In addition... areas of
freezing fog will linger through the morning hours
today... mainly affecting southern Kansas.

* Snow and sleet accumulations... will remain light and generally
less than a half inch for locations along and south of the
Highway 50 corridor.

* Freezing fog... could create a light glaze on roadways and
elevated surfaces across southern Kansas.

* Main impacts... include reduced visibilities to around a mile at
times from areas of freezing fog... and possible slick spots on
any untreated roadways.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of winter weather
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads
and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.
