Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 8:32 PM CST on February 28, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
Sunday...

* timing... another round of light snow is expected to develop
tonight with some freezing drizzle possible near the Oklahoma
border. The wintry precipitation will continue into midday
on Sunday.

* Snow accumulations... up to an additional inch can be expected
into early Sunday morning... with perhaps up to 2 inches along
the Highway 50 corridor.

* Freezing drizzle... is possible overnight into Sunday morning
across south central and southeast Kansas... mainly closer to the
Oklahoma border.

* Main impacts... include reduced visibilities to under 1 mile at
times in snow... along with snow covered and slick roads. Any
freezing drizzle in southern Kansas will make driving conditions
very hazardous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of winter weather
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads
and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.
