Flash Flood Watch
Statement as of 10:31 PM CDT on July 07, 2015

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday
evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of southeast Kansas... including the following
areas... Allen... Chautauqua... Elk... Greenwood... Labette...
Montgomery... Neosho... Wilson and Woodson.

* Through Wednesday evening.

* Heavy rain is likely over southeast Kansas tonight and early
Wednesday. Additional rainfall amounts around 2 to 3 inches
are possible.

* Rivers and streams may rise with flash flooding a possibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
Remember to turn around... don't drown.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
