Wind Advisory
Issued: 6:05 PM CST Feb. 7, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 8 am to 6 PM CST Monday...

* timing... wind speeds will increase shortly after sunrise Monday
and remain strong through the late afternoon.

* Winds... northwest winds will be sustained from 25 to 35 mph
with gusts around 45 mph.

* Impacts... loose and lightweight objects may be blown around by
the wind. Motorists should keep both hands on the steering
wheel. Light snow or flurries are also possible Monday... and
this wind would combine with any falling snow to create
greatly reduced and quickly changing visibilities.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or gusts to
45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
