* at 1:15 PM Thursday the stage was 11.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise
to near 17.0 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall below
flood stage by tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact... at 17.5 feet... flood waters reach the second window level
of the restrooms at the James River outfitter canoe park area.

Taney County in southwest Missouri...

* until 500 PM CDT Thursday.

* At 1053 am CDT... the Department of Transportation indicated that
rain was producing flooding across the warned area. Flooding
continues across the warned area with numerous roads closed by
flood waters. This warning replaces the previous Flash Flood
Warning that was in effect tor the area.

* Runoff from this rain is causing flooding. Locations in the warning
include... Alton... Bakersfield... Birch Tree... Branson West...
Branson... Crane... Eminence... Forsyth... Gainesville... Galena... Grand
Gulf State Park... Hollister... Indian Point... Kimberling City...
Merriam Woods... Mountain View... Reeds Spring... Rockaway Beach...
Summersville... Table Rock State Park... Taneyville... Thayer... West
Plains... Willow Springs and Winona. Creeks... streams and low water
crossings will be especially susceptible to the dangers of
flooding.
