Special Statement
Statement as of 3:58 AM CDT on March 30, 2015

... Elevated fire danger this afternoon...

Temperatures today will rise into the upper 60s to lower 70s while
relative humidity values will drop to or slightly below 25 percent.
This warm and dry air will combine with southwest winds of 15 to 20
mph to yield an increased risk for wildfires this afternoon.
Interested parties should monitor conditions and be prepared for a
possible red flag warning if conditions deteriorate worse than the
forecast is currently predicting.
