... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am to 6 PM
CST Sunday...

* timing... snow developing across west central Illinois late this
evening and early overnight... and late tonight over east central
and southeast Illinois.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 4 inches over most of the area with 4
to 5 inches along and northwest of the Illinois River by sunset
Sunday.

* Wind... southeast at 10 to 20 mph... with gusts of 20 to 25 mph
at times late tonight and Sunday.

* Main impact... hazardous travel conditions due to snow and low
visibilities down to a mile or less at times... as well as
blowing and drifting snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
