... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from 7 PM this evening
to noon MST Wednesday...

A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from 7 PM this evening to
noon MST Wednesday.

* Timing... this evening through Wednesday morning.

* Wind chill values... 20 to 30 below tonight... 25 to 40 below
Tuesday night.

* Snow... up to an inch of new snowfall is expected this evening in
Petroleum County. Gusty winds behind the frontal passage will
cause blowing and drifting snow... leading to reduced visibility.
People traveling should use extra caution.

* Main impacts... frostbite can occur within 30 minutes to
unprotected skin. Pets and Young livestock will be at risk due
to these harsh winter conditions.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Try to dress adequately. Be sure to wear layered light weight and
wind proof clothing... and wear a hat and mittens for protection
from the dangers of frostbite.
