... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 6 PM this evening to noon
MST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for heavy snow blowing snow... which is in effect
from 6 PM this evening to noon MST Tuesday.

* Timing... Monday evening through noon on Tuesday

* impacts... heavy snowfall and gusty north winds may produce
hazardous driving conditions on area roadways. New snowfall will
also increase avalanche danger.

* Snow accumulation... 8 to 14 inches on north facing slopes.
Locally higher amounts possible.

* Winds... north at 15 to 25 mph.

* Wind chill values... 15 to 25 below zero.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means a significant amount of snow is
