The Flood Warning continues for
the Souris river near Bantry.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:00 am Wednesday the stage was 11.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 11.2 feet by
Saturday early afternoon. Additional rises may be possible
thereafter.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... flood waters affect farmland or wooded areas
in Refuge. Due to relative flatness of the area within reach of the
gage, a rather large area becomes flooded. Damage is to crops and
farm buildings.
