Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 2:52 PM CST Feb. 8, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

* timing... light snow will gradually taper off this afternoon... but
areas of blowing snow will continue.

* Accumulations... little additional accumulation is expected
today.

* Wind and visibility... northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts
to 40 mph will persist into the afternoon hours. These winds will
create periods of reduced visibility and slick driving
conditions through sunset.

* Impacts... travel will be very difficult... travel will begin to
improve by sunset.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.
