... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

* snow will develop this morning and will become moderate at
times. The snow may be mixed with freezing drizzle at times and
will then taper off to flurries later this afternoon.

* A total snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is expected.

* Travel conditions will become hazardous due to snow covered
roads and will impact the morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause some travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
The latest Wisconsin Road conditions can be obtained by calling
511.

Special Statement
Statement as of 8:38 AM CST on March 03, 2015

... Bands of moderate to heavy snow to move across north-central
and northeast Wisconsin this morning...

Bands of moderate to sometimes heavy snow will move across north-central
and northeast Wisconsin this morning. Visibilities in the heavier snow
bands will drop down to around a quarter of a mile at times... and produce
snowfall rates of an inch or two per hour. Motorists are urged to slow
down this morning and allow extra time to reach your destination...
especially if you encounter the heavier snow bands. Due to the high
snowfall rates... treated roads could become snow covered and slippery
again.

The snow should begin to taper off later this morning across north-central
and central Wisconsin... and across northeast and east-central Wisconsin
early this afternoon.
