Statement as of 4:15 AM CST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8 am CST this
morning...

* short term trends... light freezing rain and sleet will continue
across southern and southeastern Iowa... lifting north through
the early morning. Along and north of Interstate 80 snow will
also be possible.

* Storm total snow/ice accumulations... snow accumulations will be
less than an inch. Ice accumulations will be minor... with a few
hundredths of an inch possible.

* Impacts... although only minor ice and snow accumulations are
anticipated... the wintry mix will produce hazardous travel
early Tuesday... including the morning commute. Untreated
surfaces may become icy.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
