... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 7 am EST
Saturday...

Hazardous weather...

* light to moderate lake effect snow will continue to fall through
   tonight.

* Northwest winds will increase up to 40 mph today... leading to
   increased blowing snow and reduced visibilities to one half mile
   or less.

* Additional snowfall accumulations of 2 to 6 inches are expected
   through tonight. The least snow will fall away from Lake Superior
   while the heaviest snow will occur over the higher terrain.

* Wind chill readings will be as low as 25 below zero this morning
   and continue through tonight.

Impacts...

* roads will become snow covered and slippery.

* Blowing snow will reduce visibilities to one mile or less at
   times... especially today near Lake Superior.

* Wind chill values to 25 below zero can lead to frost bite on
   exposed skin in as little as 15 minutes.
