Pulaski County in northwestern Indiana...

* until 915 am EDT/815 am CDT/

* at 608 am EDT /508 am CDT/... Doppler radar indicated showers and
scattered thunderstorms with very heavy rain from Culver to
Rensselaer. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected in
portions of the advisory area early this morning. This will cause
minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Winamac... Argos... Culver... Francesville... Medaryville... Walnut...
Ripley... Monterey... Leiters Ford... Ora... Denham... Inwood... Lake
Bruce... Beardstown... Hibbard... Maxinkuckee... Tiosa... Burr Oak...
Talma and Vanmeter Park.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
