Special Statement
Statement as of 4:00 PM EST on February 27, 2015

Significant snow accumulations will likely occur across the
northern two thirds of central Indiana beginning late Saturday
night and continuing Sunday into Sunday evening.

Currently we are expecting 6 inches or a little more along and
north of a line from Crawfordsville to Tipton and Muncie. In the
Indianapolis Metro area total snow amounts of 3 to 5 inches are
expected... while far southern sections from Vincennes to Bedford
and Seymour will see total snow amounts little more than an inch.

The precipitation will begin as all snow late Saturday evening and
change to or become mixed with freezing rain over southern
sections Sunday morning. On Sunday the precipitation will change
to mostly rain over southern sections... while precipitation in northern
sections remain mostly as snow.

A slight change in models may affect these snow amounts... so you
should listen to latest statements and possible watches and
warning from the National Weather Service.
