... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM EST
Thursday...

* accumulations... accumulations from daybreak to early evening of
2 to 4 inches are likely. Another 3 to 5 inches is possible
tonight if stronger snow bands get set up. Another inch or two
of snow is possible on Thursday. A few locations could see a
total of a foot of snow by Thursday evening.

* Timing... snow showers will increase in coverage later today and
then continue into Thursday. The snow showers are expected to
diminish in coverage and intensity on Thursday.

* Impacts... snow covered roads and reduced visibility during
heavier snow showers and squalls.

* Winds... west 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 20s.

In lake effect snow the weather can vary from locally heavy snow
in narrow bands to dry weather just a few miles away. If you will
