Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 4:18 AM EST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 1 PM EST this
afternoon...

* hazard types... light freezing rain possibly beginning as or
mixing with sleet.

* Accumulations... around five hundredths of an inch of ice.

* Timing... areas of light freezing rain mixed with sleet will
spread across the area during the morning hours... changing to
rain by early afternoon.

* Impacts... light amounts of icing will cause some roads and
sidewalks to become slippery. Use caution when outdoors as areas
that look wet may be icy. If you must drive... be cautious as you
may encounter ice on roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... a Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of
sleet... or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be
prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use
caution while driving. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or your
favorite source of information for the latest updates. Additional
details can also be found at www.Weather.Gov/iln... as well as on
our facebook and twitter pages.
