the levisa Fork Big Sandy river at Prestonsburg
* until late Friday night.
* At 6 PM Thursday the stage was 36.2 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 40.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will crest near 37 feet by 1 am
Friday morning and then start to fall.

... Slick Road conditions will continue through early Friday
morning...

Slick roads will continue through tonight and into early Friday
morning due to the recent snowfall... in addition to this there
have been reports of patchy ground fog. Combine this with
subfreezing temperatures expected tonight... any melted snow will
likely refreeze on roads... adding to the danger. The subfreezing
temperatures will also be harmful to people and animals who are
outside.
