* until 800 PM EDT

* at 454 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding. Overflowing poor
drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area.
One to two inches of rain have already fallen over parts of
Magoffin and Floyd counties.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...

Montgomery... Powell and Rowan. In northeast Kentucky... Johnson
and Martin. In south central Kentucky... Laurel... Pulaski and
Rockcastle. In southeast Kentucky... Breathitt... Clay... Floyd...
   Harlan... Jackson... Knott... Lee... Leslie... Letcher...
Magoffin... Morgan... Owsley... Perry... Pike and Wolfe.

* From Wednesday evening through late Thursday night
