afternoon...

* numerous snow showers early this afternoon will taper to
scattered snow showers by mid afternoon.

* Total snow accumulations of around an inch are expected for
most of the advisory area... with locally up to an inch and a
half near the Tennessee and Virginia borders.

* Reduced visibilities are anticipated in heavier snow showers.
