Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 8:25 AM EST Feb. 8, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EST
Wednesday...

* snow and rain showers will occur today... before changing to all
snow this evening. For elevations above 2500 feet... mainly snow
showers will occur... with little or no snow accumulation
expected through this afternoon. All locations should have
temperatures fall below freezing early this evening... and
precipitation will become snow in all areas. Snow showers will
continue at times into Tuesday night... and then begin to taper
off.

* Snow will accumulate over a prolonged period... with totals by
late Tuesday night in the 2 to 4 inch range for most areas.
Above 2500 feet... localized accumulations around 6 inches will
be possible.

* As temperatures fall below freezing... roads and walkways will
become slippery... especially those which are untreated.
Localized heavy snow showers may also bring greatly reduced
visibility at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
