Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 8:15 AM CST on March 05, 2015

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST /noon
CST/ this afternoon...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST /noon
CST/ this afternoon.

* Timing: moderate snow will slowly taper off through the morning
hours.

* Accumulations: an additional 1 to 2 inches of snow is possible.

* Main impact: plan on snow covered roads and dangerous to near
impossible travel conditions.

* Other impacts: the weight of the snow could result in scattered
power outages and downed tree limbs. Flat roof structures have a
potential for collapse... especially in areas where greater than
a foot of snow has fallen.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Travel will be treacherous with some roads nearly impassable.
Have an emergency kit of blankets... food... water and flashlights
if you must travel.
