the Tornado Warning that was previously in effect has been reissued
for northeastern Rockcastle County and central Jackson County until

west central Owsley County in southeastern Kentucky...
central Jackson County in southeastern Kentucky...
northeastern Rockcastle County in south central Kentucky...

* until 900 PM EDT

* at 827 PM EDT... a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Eglon... or near McKee... moving east at 40
mph.

Hazard... tornado and Golf Ball size hail.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to
           roofs... windows and vehicles will occur. Flying debris
           will be deadly to people and animals. Tree damage is
           likely.

At 820 PM EDT... a severe thunderstorm was located over Morrill... or
11 miles northeast of Mount Vernon... moving east at 45 mph.

Hazard... Golf Ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs... siding... windows and vehicles. Expect
         wind damage to roofs... siding and trees.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch
Statement as of 6:00 PM EDT on April 25, 2015

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
parts of central and southeast Kentucky

* effective this Saturday evening from 600 PM until 1100 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

Summary... small bowing segments or supercells are expected to
persist just ahead of a surface low approaching wrn KY... and these
storms will spread across central and southeast KY through late
evening. The stronger storms will be capable of producing damaging
gusts and large hail.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch area is approximately along and 45
statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles northwest
of Bowling Green Kentucky to 30 miles east northeast of London
