Flash Flood Watch
Statement as of 10:58 PM CDT on July 07, 2015

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday
evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* all of central Kentucky and south central Indiana.

* Through Wednesday evening

* multiple rounds of showers and storms are expected to continue
through Wednesday evening causing 1 to 3 inches of rainfall
with locally higher amounts in the 2 to 5 inch range. Areas
that receive the heavier bands of rainfall or intense rainfall
rates will be prone to flash flooding.

* Some rivers... lakes... and streams are running high. This
additional rainfall may cause some minor flooding in these areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
