* at 1153 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm
producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
This storm was located near Collierville... and moving southeast at
30 mph.

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of east Arkansas... north
Mississippi and west Tennessee... including the following
areas... in east Arkansas... Craighead... Crittenden... cross...
Lawrence... Lee... Mississippi... Poinsett and St. Francis. In
north Mississippi... Alcorn... Benton... Chickasaw... DeSoto...
Itawamba... Lafayette... Lee... Marshall... Monroe... Panola...
Pontotoc... Prentiss... Tate... Tippah... Tishomingo... Tunica and
Union. In west Tennessee... Chester... Fayette... Hardeman...
Hardin... Haywood... Lauderdale... Madison... McNairy... Shelby and
Tipton.

* heavy rainfall in thunderstorms moving repeatedly over the same
areas will produce rainfall amounts between 2 and 4

areas that receive flash flooding.
