northwestern Monroe County in east Tennessee...

* until 1000 am EDT

* at 653 am EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms has produced 2 to 3 inches of rainfall. Fezzell Road
near Hwy 58 is closed and Womack Hollow Road on the Hwy 58 side is
impassable. Additional minor flooding in the advisory area should
be expected.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Athens... Sweetwater... Spring City... Englewood... Niota... Peakland...
Ten Mile... Stinging Fork Falls S.P... .Grandview... Murray Store and
Piney falls S.P..

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
