Special Statement
Statement as of 9:52 PM CST on March 01, 2015

... Patchy freezing drizzle possible Monday morning...

A cold front will move across middle Tennessee tonight... with
temperatures falling to near or below freezing north of the I-40
corridor. As rain comes to an end across this area... some patchy
freezing drizzle will be possible late tonight into early Monday
morning.

Elevated surfaces such as trees and cars may see some very light
ice accumulations in area north of the I-40 corridor.
However... with Road temperatures well into the 40s... no icing is
expected on area roadways although some patchy ice cannot be ruled
out on a few bridges and overpasses. Caution is urged for those
driving during the Monday morning commute.

Temperatures will warm above freezing by mid morning on Monday
ending any icing issues.

... Very light freezing drizzle possible Monday morning...

As rains come to an end early Monday morning... surface temperatures
are expected to fall below freezing for areas north and west of a
line from Waverly to Lafayette... as well of patchy spots on the
Cumberland Plateau. Because of this... some freezing drizzle will
be possible in these areas. Due to sunday's warmer temperatures...
only very light ice accumulations on elevated surfaces and tree
limbs will be possible between 2 am and 8 am Monday morning. Road
surfaces should remain in good condition throughout this time
frame. Temperatures are expected to climb back above freezing
after 8 am. Please keep this in mind as you head out for the
Monday morning commute.
