Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 11:28 AM CST on March 04, 2015

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 3 PM this
afternoon to 9 am CST Thursday...

* timing... from 3 PM CST Wednesday through 9 am CST Thursday.

* Accumulations... 3 to 6 inches of snow and sleet are expected...
with the highest amounts closer to the Kentucky state line and
lowest amounts near Interstate 40. Locally higher amounts will
be possible... especially for areas near the Kentucky state
line. Freezing rain accumulations may be around a tenth of an
inch.

* Main impact... precipitation will change to freezing rain and
sleet by mid afternoon... then all snow around midnight. This
mixed precipitation will create major travel impacts from
Wednesday afternoon through Friday afternoon.

* Other impacts... temperatures are likely to stay below freezing
from Wednesday night through mid day Friday. This will likely
keep many roadways slick and hazardous for an extended period
of time.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
