The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Alabama and southern middle
Tennessee... including the following areas... in Alabama...
Colbert... Cullman... DeKalb... Franklin al... Jackson...
Lauderdale... Lawrence... Limestone... Madison... Marshall and
Morgan. In southern middle Tennessee... Franklin TN... Lincoln
and Moore.

* Through Saturday evening

* heavy rainfall will continue to move across the region today
through Saturday night bringing an estimated 2 to 4 inches over
already saturated soils.

* Saturated soils from rainfall over the past few days along with the
additional rainfall expected may cause flash flooding of area
roadways... low lying areas and urban small streams.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
